I don't like writing about myself, because my interests are so wide and varied that I never know which me is me from day to day! I loved it when I was giving lectures or performing music, because people introduced me, and told me who I was supposed to be—finding that on my own is very easy to live, but hard to write about. I suppose the best thing I can tell you is that I'm happiest when I'm ears deep into creating something, especially if it can be made from items that others have cast aside.
Writing is my passion and comes easily to me, followed by knitting (I'm an absolute yarn addict), and pottery. We're in the process of pottery studio next to the house, and I'm sure you'll hear much more about that in the weeks to come. My other interests involve all the weird stuff from my hippie days; astrology, numerology, tarot, and more. I get easily distracted, because life offers me so many wonderful things (many of which are fattening).
When I'm not knitting or writing or working on the pottery studio, I can be found lounging around with my special needs Great Danes, or in my garden. I love the feeling of soil between my fingers, and I'm an advocate of organic gardening and cooking. I'm a dedicated vegetarian and working my way towards veganism, and abhor unfairness and cruelty in any form.
